Gilly's Gang and TRG Motorsports - A Dime at A Time

Mooresville, NC —

David Gilliland's fan club known as Gilly's Gang has collected money to help TRG Motorsports this weekend.  The team has placed the Gilly's Gang logo on the back deck-lid for their efforts as the team prepares for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Goody's Fast Relief 500 to be run at Martinsville Speedway tomorrow, Sunday.
 
The group banded together on David's web site, www.davidgilliland.com, and have raised over $3,000 to help the effort this weekend.
 
"It is great to have the sticker Gilly's Gang on the car," Gilliland said.  "It is funny.  Everyone used to call my Grandpa Gilly.  I never really told anyone that.  Last year a bunch of the guys on the team called me Gilly, so that is how that deal got started and my fans picked up on it and started Gilly's Gang.  They have been great through all of the stuff that has happened this last six months.  They have never missed a beat and been behind me 100%.  Now with the logo on the back deck-lid for this weekend they are with me more than 100.  It is awesome to have that kind of support of from you fans.  I am real proud to have them behind me and on the car for this weekend.  We will try to give them a good run tomorrow."
 
Round six of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will be the Goody's Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway will run tomorrow, Sunday, and will be televised live on FOX starting at 1:30 p.m. ET.
